The Investment Store is a specialist provider of marketing and distribution services to boutique and specialist fund managers. The Investment Store operates and is contracted as an independent marketer to fund managers. We operate as a funds marketing business and assist our partner managers to market and distribute their capabilities and funds via NZ resident professional financial intermediaries and institutional investors in New Zealand (who are "wholesale clients" as defined by the Financial markets Conduct Act 2013), and with a focus on providing marketing resources and expertise to funds management companies.
The Investment Store is registered on the Financial Service Providers Register (FSP number 11981). It is registered as a Financial Advice Provider to wholesale clients only. The Investment Store does not offer investment or taxation advice, and any financial advice is only provided to financial intermediaries and institutional investors who are wholesale clients. Accordingly, The Investment Store is not required to obtain a market services licence or to provide disclosure statements under the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013, nor be a member of a dispute resolution scheme under the Financial Service Providers (Registration and Dispute Resolution) Act 2008.
Nonetheless, The Investment Store must comply with the general legal obligations of a FAP (including, to give priority to client's interests; to exercise care, diligence, and skill; and not to recommend to acquire a financial advice product it knows is from a regulated offer that contravenes the Financial Markets Conduct Act.
Please note that this website is made available only to New Zealand resident professional financial intermediaries and institutional investors who are “wholesale clients” for the purposes of the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013. The Investment Store reserves the right to immediately cease providing any further services to you if you notify us that you opt out of being a wholesale client pursuant to Schedule 5 of the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013.
